Dual therapy features for advanced wound treatment
The RecoverAir 3000 uses both alternating pressure and low air loss to treat moderate to severe pressure ulcers. Progressive alternating pressure produces lower interface pressures and increased circulation to stimulate pressure ulcer treatment. "True" low air loss provides moisture and temperature control and improved patient comfort. The top cover is highly vapor permeable and oversized, thus reducing risk of friction, shear and complications of incontinence. As a mattress replacement system, the RecoverAir 3000 can be used with existing patient bed frames.

After a few months

I've had this mattress for a few months now. Due to the noise and chill mentioned above I ended up getting a Twin XL memory foam pad off of Amazon. Using that things are much better. I sleep through the night with no mattress related pain. I'm able to lay on my side with no shoulder pain for extended periods.
The bed can be set for either static or alternating pressure. If on alternating it can be set to change between every 1 to 95 minutes. The firmness can be varied in 100 lbs increments to accommodate weights from 100 - 1000 lbs.

| Strengths | It is easy to use and comfortable. The entire mattress weighs approximately 30 lbs and can be rolled into a bag slightly larger than a normal duffel bag if needed. |
| Weaknesses | Due to the air which blows out of the top of the mattress by design to keep the skin dry and help prevent sores I got cold at night. If you're still able to move moving on the mattress is noisy. |
